Water Ventures can design, supply, engineer, and build a complete turn-key
marina including shore work, electrical, boat launches, etc. Water Ventures supplies the finest floating and fixed dock systems. Utilizing the latest highly
flexible aluminum and natural hardwood, our systems gives the marina owner a modular marina which is easy to move and adjust for different sized boats and
changing configurations. Steel reinforced rubber blocks connect each section for maximum flexibility. Each main dock, gangway, finger walkway, and fixed walkway is engineered to the highest standards.
FEATURES:
- Four separate aluminum extrusions to custom build the docks to specific boat and load requirements.
- Live load Capacities up to 51 pounds per square foot Wood, Aluminum, Polyethylene, and Composite wood decking.
- Lengths up to 40 feet and up to 16 feet wide Stainless steel bolting
- Special optional piling rings with four heavy EPDM rollers and easy access pile for moving docks sections
- Finger piers available in both straight or tapering configurations

ALUMINUM DOCKS
Water Ventures supplied docks are uniquely equipped and totally committed to making the world's finest aluminum framed docks for the
commercial marina industry. Only extruded 6005-T5 aluminum alloy, combining high strength and corrosive resistance are used. The result is long life and easy maintenance of your equipment.
THE FRAME
The aluminum truss system is composed of a tube frame with a reinforcing rod welded repeating "V" shapes along the outer walls. The truss
system may be manufactured with 12", 16", 30" or 48" sidewall, depending on site conditions. The larger truss, the stronger the frame. For
example, the 12" truss will be sufficient for the main frame-work of most marina systems, but a 16" or 30" truss may be needed for rougher
water, bigger boats, or long fingers without intermediate anchoring. The 48" truss is used for floating systems. All of the aluminum structures
on our marine systems feature polyethylene floats and are available with either aluminum, vinyl or wood decks.
KEY FACT
Truss systems can support the same vertical loads as plane systems, but with less material. Frequently, whaler boards are attached to
provide greater lateral strength and serve as a bumper.
BENEFITS OF ALUMINUM TRUSS SYSTEMS
- No rust or corrosion, so they'll last longer and maintain their attractive appearance.
- Lighter than steel, so they're easier to remove and install where docks are seasonal.
- Aluminum frames flex, providing greater elasticity than steel.
- No secondary treatment needed, making them more attractive than galvanized frames.
